How can I improve graphics speed for games on my computer without buying a new graphics card?
Can someone give me some tips on improving the graphics speed for the games on my computer without having to go buy a new graphics card? Just any tips other than buying a new graphics card. Thanks.

- For processing physics, etc, you could upgrade your processor, but that's also a hardware change and you're probably wanting to steer away from that. Download the latest drivers for your current video card, but other than that there's really nothing you can do. If you're serious about gaming, you're going to have to bite the bullet and get a new, shiny graphics card sooner or later. The most recent games hardly run on the best systems if they're on very-high settings.
- you could try overclocking the graphic card, the core and mem can be overclocked, if it's relatively modern try riva tuner, but take it easy and look it up on the net first. bit of a dark art.
