Why do computer graphics seem so unreal and unsatisfying compared to miniature models?
Computer graphics appear so unreal to me. Could this be because real miniature models are physical? Do physical models inhabit a greater region of reality (space-time) in general because they are physical and therefore are part of the multiverse or the quantum realm? Are computer graphics "weak" because they are not part of the quantum physical essence? Does this difference show up on an emotional level when a person is watching a film? Is mimicking with physical models a better way to go?

- why did you ask this when you already knew the answer?
- That is an interesting idea, but I think that what you are experiencing comes from our vision and how we perceive the 3-dimensional world. When we look at a real object, each of our eyes sees a slightly different image. Our brain superposes those two images, and we get a sense of depth perception. This doesn't happen when we are watching a flat computer or movie screen.
- Because they ARE unreal.
